    Bearing cleaning: Clean the bearing regularly according to the cleanliness of the working environment. Generally, it is carried out during equipment maintenance, and special bearing cleaning agent or gasoline, kerosene and other solvents can be used. Soak the bearing in solvent, gently brush with a banister brush and dry with a clean cloth. Be careful not to damage the bearing surface with excessively sharp tools.
  • lubrication
    Select proper lubricant: select proper lubricating oil or grease according to the working conditions of the bearing, such as rotating speed, load, working temperature, etc. In general, bearings with high speeds and light loads are suitable for low viscosity lubricants, while bearings with low speeds and heavy loads are suitable for high viscosity lubricants or greases.
    Regular supplement or replacement of lubricant: regularly check the lubrication of the bearing according to the equipment instruction or maintenance manual, and supplement or replace the lubricant in time. For the bearing using lubricating grease, the lubricating grease shall be supplemented every 2000 – 3000 hours or half a year; For the bearing using lubricating oil, check the oil level and quality regularly. If the oil level is too low, supplement it in time. If the oil quality becomes worse, replace it in time.

    Appearance inspection: regularly check the appearance of the bearing, check whether the bearing surface has wear, crack, rust and other defects, and check whether the retainer has deformation, damage and other conditions. Timely handle or replace the bearing if any problem is found.
    Clearance inspection: use a professional clearance measuring tool to regularly check the clearance of the bearing. Too large or too small clearance will affect the normal operation of the bearing. If the clearance exceeds the specified range, analyze the causes and take corresponding measures, such as adjusting the installation accuracy and replacing the bearing.
    Vibration and noise inspection: check the running state of the bearing regularly by listening to the sound or using vibration detection instrument. If the bearing is found to have abnormal vibration or noise, it may be caused by internal problems of the bearing, such as ball wear, raceway damage, etc., it shall be stopped for inspection in time to find out the cause and repair or replace it.
  • Installation and removal
    Correct installation: when installing the deep groove ball bearing, ensure that the installation surface is clean and flat, and the installation tools are correctly used to avoid the impact and damage to the bearing. At the same time, ensure the installation accuracy of the bearing, such as the fitting accuracy of the shaft and the bearing hole, the perpendicularity and coaxiality of the bearing, so as to ensure the normal operation of the bearing.
    Standard disassembly: When disassembling the bearing, special disassembly tools such as Lama shall be used to avoid forceful disassembly, so as to avoid damaging the bearing and relevant parts. Removed bearings shall be properly preserved to avoid collision and corrosion.
  • Work environment control
    Control temperature: avoid the bearing working at too high or too low temperature. Too high temperature will deteriorate the lubricating grease of the bearing, expand the bearing material and affect the normal operation of the bearing; Too low temperature will increase the viscosity of lubricating oil and increase the friction resistance of bearing. In general, the operating temperature of the bearing shall be controlled between – 20 ° C and 80 ° C.
    Prevention of corrosion: prevent the bearing from contacting with corrosive substances such as water, acid and alkali. If the working environment is poor, corresponding protective measures shall be taken, such as using the bearing with good sealing performance and conducting anti-corrosion treatment on the bearing surface.
